31 Jan Catholic school board preparing ‘day of action’ to add international languages to daily curriculum
Toronto’s Catholic school board has launched a campaign to maintain, and in some cases add, international language courses within the traditional class day, despite the objections of some parents.
Trustees with the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) voted last Thursday to demand that the provincial Ministry of Education not only allow the classes to be taught entirely during regular school hours, but to cover the costs as well.
